The establishment of the BISE Faisalabad Board was held in 1988. After that, now, it is being worked under the Punjab Boards of intermediate and secondary Education Act, 1979.
BISE Faisalabad has the power to make rules for itself. The authority makes rules and follows them strictly.
Faisalabad board affords its all expenses through examination and fees. Though it doesn’t receive any donations from any Govt or semi-government agency.
When we come to BISE Faisalabad Board’s building, it is well constructed and well furnished. Its main hall is well equipped and is a hi-fi digital sound system. 500 people can be easily work in its main hall. And its meeting room is also well equipped and air-conditioned. Its library consists of 25 persons and it has 7805 books. The mosque is also well furnished and 250 people can pray one time in it. Nowadays Faisalabad board is working on some main projects:- Construction of two rooms for security guards, Installation of two gates in front of the secrecy branch, and Placing the steel mate on main entries of the campus.
Faisalabad board’s services are described under as:
1. It holds and conducts examinations for secondary and intermediate levels.
2. It grants certificates and diplomas to the successful students
3. It also awards scholarships, medals, and prizes to the position holders
4. It also appoints capable staff by the controlling authority.
5. Computerization has been completed in BISE Faisalabad.
6. BISE Faisalabad Board is also providing the facility of SMS services to its stakeholders.
7. Incoming BISE Faisalabad Board Examinations, 2021 – 2022 – 2023 -2024 and further BISE Faisalabad Board will monitor its examinations, marking centers, and results via the online system. Moreover, BISE Faisalabad Board will interlink all branches via a local network for data transmission.
Many Districts are under the jurisdiction of the BISE Faisalabad Board. Such as Faisalabad District, Jhang District, Toba Tek Singh District, and Chiniot District. All the students belonging to all their districts must have to apply for their metric or intermediate level examinations to the Faisalabad Board of intermediate and secondary education. However, they can apply more than one time if anybody is not getting the required results. Students can appear in supplementary exams also many students complain about their results. But Faisalabad Board of intermediate and secondary education has given the chance to apply for their rechecking of papers.
